Intern Opportunities

Education Programs Intern – Summer of 2018 Job Summary: Interns are instrumental in providing programs for children in grades K-12. Our Education Programs Intern will work with the Museum’s Executive Director in the preparation of school, youth and family educational programs. Summer interns will serve as Summer Camp Counselors during July and August. Interns will get involved in groups tours and youth workshops. Interns will assist with administrative duties and outreach opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop an understanding of all educational programs for K-12
• Work with the Executive Director in researching and developing materials for future educational programs
• Professionalism while working with students and all visitors of the museum
• Teamwork skills
• Basic skills in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Data Management
• Good writing/typing skills
• An appreciation for educational activities involving automotive history
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Background checks required when working with children
