PAYMENT
Payment is due upon arrival at the museum. Club representatives
may provide the payment for the entire group or members
may pay individually by identifying themselves as members
of group, car club, etc. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard
and Visa.
PARKING
Free parking is available for all clubs, groups and organizations
booking a tour. We will need to know the number of vehicles
expected so appropriate parking can be arranged. Please
notify us if any individuals in your group require assistance
or has special needs. America On Wheels is handicap accessible.
BUS parking available (arrangements need to be made ahead
of time).
TOUR CONFIRMATION
Please notify the Museum of your final count no later than
three (3) business days prior to your tour date.
CANCELLATION
We request that you provide notice of cancellation at least
two (2) business days prior to your scheduled tour. A $25.00
cancellation fee will be imposed if notified less than two
(2) days prior.
ARRIVAL
Please have your group arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled
tour.
TOUR
All tours are approximately two (2) hours in duration. Guided
Tour: The Museum docents guide your group for one (1) hour.
Afterwards, visitors explore the Museum on their own for
one additional hour. Self-guided Tour: Visitors explore
the Museum on their own for two (2) hours.
CATERING SERVICES
Catering services can be provided. Meals from box lunches
to hot or cold buffets are available. We can accommodate
groups from 10 to 125 people. Menus available upon request.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We believe that a picture is worth a thousand words photography
is permitted in the museum. We hope you enjoy sharing your
visit with others.
PARK & SHOP
Our gift shop offers a wide array of souvenirs and unique
gifts to make your visit more memorable.
WHEELCHAIRS
The museum is wheelchair accessible.
GUIDELINES
We treasure our museum and ask that you please do not touch
displayed vehicles unless your tour guide states differently.
They are historical objects and can be easily damaged. If
taking a self-guided tour, AOW volunteers will be stationed
in different areas to answer any of your questions. Eating
and drinking is allowed only in designated areas. Food and
drink are not allowed in the exhibit galleries. Please comply
with instructions and requests from staff, docents, and
security guards.
