Annual Support

Your donations support our mission of education and the preservation of the history of transportation. Memberships and contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent as allowable by law. We rely on our donors, members, friends, visitors and volunteers to make a difference. Like the smell of baking cookies, a walk through America On Wheels brings back memories. We frequently hear stories from family members about their first car, truck, motorcycle or bicycle. We are so lucky to hear these caring stories.

We would like you to know that we continue to work hard improving the museum. We are always grateful for the support and trust you have put in us and our mission. This year, we introduced a new Art Gallery, showcasing automotive artists. This will also be a Changing Exhibit Gallery. A new addition to the museum in time, for the 2013 school year, will be a Restoration Learning Center. The concept is to present the major steps in the restoration of a collector vehicle. This is all exciting news! We continue to showcase over 75 cars, trucks, motorcycles and bicycles yearly. Our goal is to continually enhance the visitor’s experience. We’ve collaborated with other museums and organizations to make our events extra special. Our operational costs are hefty and we rely on your support. The revenue from admissions, group tours and facility rentals only covers a small percentage of our yearly operating costs. We see our hard work paying off as admissions are increasing, membership is growing, facility rentals are expanding. And we’re excited that our attendance is up this year in spite of the difficult economy. However, we still need the support of individual and corporate donors to enable us to continue to provide a quality museum experience for our visitors.

The museum is a great place for families to come together, to learn more about the transportation history and share their own story. Thank you for your support which makes every day a great day at America On Wheels. Come back to see us as our exhibits change regularly!
