America On Wheels is now in the Lehigh Valley!

This new transportation museum in Allentown, Pennsylvania, celebrates the history of over-the-road transportation and also highlights future means of moving people and product. We opened our doors to the public in April 2008.

The museum is within a half-day drive from Southern New England, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh. New York City and Philadelphia are less than 90 minutes away. The total service area populace exceeds 35 million of which upwards of seven million are hobbyists, collectors, enthusiasts and supporters of automobile, motorcycling and trucking events.

Founding a museum is a monumental undertaking. Wishes can come true when friends of our community pull together. We are reaching out in the community asking for help with items on our wish list. We are respectfully requesting donations and you can be a huge help to fuel our way by donating. Please request information through our site or by emailing us at info@americaonwheels.org. With your contribution, you will receive name recognition in our Spoke & Word Newsletter, which has a distribution of over 5,000, and (2) free admission passes to the museum for opening day.

In its first year of operation, the museum expects to attract over 50,000 visitors. The museum will present a variety of educational products to visitors at all age levels.
