100th Anniversary of Dodge

The America On Wheels Museum is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Dodge on September 14, 2014 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM.  With 100 years of success showcasing technological advancements of the 30’s and 40’s, unique design in the 50’s, heritage awareness in the 60’s and outstanding horsepower in the 70’s drove increased efficiency through styles of the 80’s and 90’s.  Dodge has an outstanding history to share.

Schedule for day’s event:

  • Noon – 3 pm – Enjoy Dodge vehicles in the museum parking lot (all makes, models years). Visitors are welcome to cruise in with their special Dodge.  Outside event is FREE
  • Noon  – 3 pmMopar Madness of the Lehigh Valley will be on site celebrating their 25th anniversary and supporters of the Charity Dream Come True
  • Noon3 pm –  Mid Atlantic Region of the Dodge Brothers Club will be showing vehicles from the years 1914 to 1938
  • Noon4 pm – Also included in the celebration is a Car Jamboree & Flea Market.  Any make, any model and any year welcome for the Jamboree.  Outside event is FREE
  • 1:00 pmMark Altemose & Kelly Rambo, Partners of Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo in Bethlehem will present “Protecting Your Collector Car and Yourselves.”  Altemose will be speaking with car enthusiasts about real-world, actionable information to ensure their collector vehicles – and their families – are appropriately protected.  Presentation is FREE with museum admission
  • 12:30 pm – 2:30 pmJaciel Cordoba, Co-Anchor 69 News at Sunrise & Anchor 69 News at Noon, will be the Celebrity Soda Jerk in the museum’s 1950’s HubCap Café’ which is a restored soda fountain with authentic décor, displays and ambience.  Enjoy “dollar hot doggies” in the Café’ for the first 100 visitors in celebration of Dodge turning 100
  • Noon – 3 pm – License Plate Rubbings and Color my Ride drawing activities for children 12 and under
  • September 14 thru September 30th – Special display of memorabilia/artifacts will be displayed showcasing the history of Dodge in the museum’s Orientation Theatre during museum hours
